About Maroons Backstage
The Maroons Backstage Booster Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting theatre education and student productions at Champaign Central High School in Champaign, Illinois.
Through fundraising, volunteer support, community partnerships, and advocacy, we help provide the resources students need to learn, create, perform, and succeed—both on stage and behind the scenes.
Decker Theater
Decker Theater is home to student performances, rehearsals, and productions at Champaign Central High School. It is the space where students bring stories to life, build confidence, and share their talents with the school and community.
Through the support of the Maroons Backstage Booster Club, students have greater access to the resources, equipment, and production support needed to make theatre education and live performance possible.
Support Students
We support opportunities for students to develop skills in performance, design, lighting, sound, stage management, and technical theatre.
